REUNIR briefing for the Belgian Presidency of the Council of the EU

As part of REUNIR’s EU Presidency briefings, the coordinator presented the main aims and lines of investigation of the project to Anne-Claire Simon, Karen Ramaekers and Tom De Munck of the Federal Foreign Office of Belgium. They had an open exchange on how REUNIR research can contribute to policy development on EU enlargement, protecting the rule of law, countering foreign information manipulations and interference (FIMI), and internal reform of the EU. The need for evidence-based foresight was stressed as an important tool for policy planning. REUNIR will include the Belgian MFA in its future activities.
