Consortium members met on 9 October for an intensive one-day workshop to discuss preliminary assessments of the security, socio-economic and political threats posed by third state actors to EU candidate countries. By comparing and contrasting findings, the team was able to align approaches and identify knowledge gaps which will have to plugged through selective interviews. The fruits of this work will be published as the first deliverables of Work Packages 3-5. In addition, the methodologies for perception studies (WP6) and foresight analysis (WP7) were refined for immediate resp. mid-term implementation.
