On March 26, REUNIR’s project coordinator Steven Blockmans and Associate Senior Research Fellow Michael Emerson, CEPS, teamed up with European Council on Foreign Relations (ECFR), colleagues from the sister project Re-Engage, for policy briefings in Stockholm.

The Stockholm Centre for Eastern European Studies (SCEEUS) at the Swedish Institute of International Affairs hosted a brainstorming meeting with Christian Danielsson, State Secretary for EU Affairs and a briefing for staff at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Sweden.

The discussions focused on the EU enlargement and ways to future-proof EU enlargement policy in the face of domestic challenges and foreign interferences.
